On the Road Labs... Who We Are!
We are trained, insured and certified professionals that travels in our own personal vehicle to various places such as patients' homes, work or doctor office to collect samples. We also provide on-site services at our facility location for in house or outside lab orders, that are used to diagnose medical conditions, illnesses and diseases. We service all customers from pediatric to geriatric patients providing high quality, efficient and cost effective services and to ensure professional care and dignity for all our patients regardless of age or physical condition. No matter if your homebound, lack of transportation, sick or unwell, privacy reasons, or just wanting to save time by staying home, we will come to you, or you can simply schedule an appointment to have all you blood work needs met at our facility location. Our responsibilities also include gathering information to verify the patient's identification, coordinating with nurses or facility officials, accurately labeling and collecting samples, shipping and delivering samples to designated areas, while maintaining patient confidentiality.

The Owner
Hi, my name is Crystal Thompson, and I am the owner of On the Road Labs, LLC. I am a professional Laboratory Technician, which I received in Virginia in 2019, but I have been a certified Phlebotomist and CPR certified for over 10 years. As a certified Phlebotomist I have worked inpatient and outpatient, using phlebotomy skills from newborn to geriatric patients. I also have travelled to work in different states as a Lab Tech and Phlebotomist to help service healthcare facilities. I have worked on military bases in the state of Virginia as a preceptor training military lab technician student. Due to my husband's military orders, I recently relocated and obtain my business license here in the Gulfport, MS area and I am here to service those who can utilize the services that my business offers. I love being a phlebotomist not only because it is fun and exciting, but it also allows me to meet all types of people and provides me with the opportunity to gain experience of new techniques and skills. I have always had a passion for helping others and being a Lab Tech/Phlebotomist allows me to do that along with doing something positive for others. I am resolute at what I do, and I will continue to strive to provide the best patient care.
